Autoclaving -

a high-tech bench-top autoclave -

Thermostatting -
For temperature-sensitive media or
for thermostatting liquids- MediaClave becomes an accurate water bath for
the temperature range 37°C - 80°C.

MediaClave can be quickly converted to a compact bench-top autoclave. It is particularly suitable for the individual and economical sterilisation of small volumes of media. Heating up:

Short processing times for 1 - 9 L agar. The heating-
up time for 1 L agar (red line) is 12 min., the cooling-
down time 6 min. For 9 L (blue line), the heating-up
time is 33 min and the cooling-down time 20 min.
Hence, at 20 min. sterilisation time, the entire
process takes 38 and 73 min. respectively.

Cooling down:

• The rapid cooling facility is 95 % quicker than self-cooling. During the cooling process, the cooling medium is constantly circulated, hence guaranteeing optimal temperature transfer and monitoring.

be cooled from 121°C to 50°C in only 20 minutes - compared to a self-cooling period of 13 h!
