Reagent reservoirs are used by many laboratories for the temporary storage of reagent during pipetting applications. However many reservoirs have flimsy troughs and require a lot of storage space.
Unlike traditional reservoirs, INTEGRA developed an innovative reservoir solution that features reusable reservoir bases. This allows users to reuse the sturdy base and toss the disposable insert. This design also allows for disposable inserts that nest within one another for space saving packaging.
How it works
The INTEGRA 96 and 384 well reservoirs utilize reusable SBS footprint bases. Simply keep the base and replace either the 100 ml or 300 ml reservoirs inserts. The INTEGRA reservoir design saves you both precious lab space and money.
96 Well Polystyrene Reservoirs
1) Reusable Reservoir Base
Holds the disposable reservoir securely during use. Because the base can be reused and only the insert is tossed away, less plastic is wasted.
2) Pour Back Spouts
Molded into each corner, convenient pour back spouts control liquid flow and allow you to neatly and easily return excess fluid to a source container - if your protocol allows.
3) Deep Through Design
96 or 384 individual pyramidal indentations allow for maximum liquid recovery when using VIAFLO 96, VIAFLO 384 or other multiwell pipetting systems.
SBS Polypropylene Reservoirs
1) Polypropylene Design
The polypropylene design improves the reservoirs chemical compatibility and also allows the reservoirs to be autoclaved.
2) Three Configurations
These options include a 300 ml open well reservoir with 96 pyramid shaped indentations, a 12 column and an 8 row reservoir.
3) Low Dead Volume
All three reservoirs promote a low dead volume for maximum reagent recovery. The 300 ml open well reservoir features a dead volume of only 9.7 ml, the 12 column reservoir has a dead volume of 219 µl per column and the 8 row reservoir has a dead volume of 354 µl per row.
