To expand our team, we are looking for an experienced and service-oriented personality for our UK subsidiary who enjoys innovative and sophisticated products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventive maintenance, calibration as well as troubleshooting and repair of our entire product range
  • Execution of prioritized repair operations for PLATINUM contract customers (guaranteed function of the equipment within 48h)
  • Equipment installations including subsequent qualification of the equipment
  • Training for users and techniciansClose cooperation and coordination with the sales team
  • Documentation of the activities performed in the SAP Field Service App
  • Management of spare parts, test equipment and tools required in the field

Knowledge, skills and qualifications – essential

  • Basic understanding of Electrical and Electronic systems/principles
  • Experience of repairing electrical equipment
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a rapid response environment
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Attention to detail – quality process driven
  • Full UK driving licence

Knowledge, skills and qualifications – desirable

  • Electro-mechanical engineering background supported by a technical qualification (e.g. ONC/NVQ)
  • Minimum two years field service role and familiarity with all aspects of customer service including repairs and service
  • Ability to work as part of a highly motivated and driven team
  • Previous experience within the laboratory environment
