Technical Service statement
On-site and send-in services during COVID-19 pandemics
As the situation regarding COVID-19 continues to become more severe, we would like to update you on the policies we have put in place to ensure that we minimize any negative impact the pandemic might have to your laboratory or business. As researchers around the world work diligently to gain a better understanding of this virus, INTEGRA recognizes that our products will continue to be used in critical environments and we understand the importance of permanent support to our customers. Please find additional details regarding INTEGRA’s on-site and send-in services below.
The safety of INTEGRA employees and our customers is a top priority at this time. If your facility is open and you require on-site services, we are ready to support your needs.
- INTEGRA’s Service Engineers are adhering to all government guidelines to avoid the spread of the virus including frequent handwashing and distancing themselves from members of your laboratory. All tools and equipment required to provide service are fully cleaned before and after entering your facility.
- Any employee showing symptoms of the virus will be required to self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days.
- We ask our customers to limit on-site service requests to those critical in nature to avoid unnecessary travel.
- INTEGRA has implemented a “no fly” policy for all of our Service Engineers. In the event you are not within driving distance of an engineer and your equipment requires repair, we are fully prepared to provide protective packaging to facilitate the return of your equipment to one of our service centers.
If your equipment requires calibration or repair, our facilities around the world are prepared to receive and complete service on all products. Our Technical Service teams are available by phone and email during normal operating hours. Additionally, team members are available for troubleshooting purposes by a number of video conference tools including Skype, Facetime and Zoom.
