Help us to put better pipetting in your hands
and improve your daily pipetting experience
Ergonomic handheld pipetting is about more than comfort. The right pipette can reduce physical strain, make repetitive liquid handling easier, and support efficient, accurate pipetting throughout the working day.
Small differences in pipette design – from weight, balance and grip to operating forces, volume adjustments and tip handling – can have a big impact on comfort, ease of use and workflow efficiency.
Now, we’re inviting you to share your experience with handheld pipetting and tell us which factors matter most to you.
Take part in a short questionnaire to help us understand how we can make everyday pipetting even better, and you could win a SWITCH Starter Pack with Flex charging stand.
Why this matters
Pipetting may appear simple, but performing the same movements repeatedly can place significant physical demands on the user.
Three of the main factors influencing pipetting strain are:
- posture
- force
- repetition
Over time, awkward working positions, repetitive movements and the forces needed to operate a pipette can contribute to fatigue and discomfort. This can also affect concentration, pipetting precision and overall workflow efficiency.
Good pipette design can make a difference.
Lightweight, well-balanced instruments with low operating forces, a comfortable grip design, easy volume adjustment and reduced tip loading and ejection forces can all contribute to a more comfortable pipetting experience.
And when workflows become more repetitive, multichannel and electronic pipettes can help to reduce the number of manual movements required.
What you could win
Grand prize: SWITCH Starter Pack with Flex charging stand
The winning lab will receive:
- 3 SWITCH pipettes (20, 200 and 1,000 µl)
- 1 rack each of 20, 200 and 1,000 µl GRIPTIPS® pipette tips
- 1 Flex charging stand
Why participate?
Your insights help us to understand:
- what matters most when choosing and using a handheld pipette
- which aspects of pipette handling make the biggest difference in everyday workflows
- how users experience tip sealing and maintenance
- where challenges remain in multichannel pipetting
- where new or improved solutions could make liquid handling easier
Your feedback will help us to better understand what makes a great pipetting experience, and where there are opportunities to improve our products and solutions.
And, of course, you might win a SWITCH Starter Pack.
GOOD LUCK!
