Éva is an Application Specialist with a degree in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Environmental Microbiology. During her PhD studies, she was trying to eliminate chemical contamination from industrial fields with the help of bacteria. After that she followed her heart and moved to Switzerland where she spent her post-doc years working in soil microbiology, trying to understand how bacteria can help plants to obtain enough nutrients from soil, and analyzing antimicrobial compound-producing microorganisms. Her free time is all about microbiology (brewing beer and baking bread with wild yeast), sports (running, biking, hiking) and photography.
