How to plant the growing paper

This growing paper contains oregano, thyme and basil seeds – the perfect herb mix for a homemade pizza! Here's how to plant it.

1. Moisten the growing paper

Thoroughly wet the growing paper – and we mean really wet! This will ensure that the paper dissolves properly, allowing the seeds to germinate.

2. Plant the growing paper

Fill a container – for example, an empty ECO rack – with soil, preferably potting compost. Place the paper on top of the soil and cover it with about 1 cm of compost.

3. Water, water and water

The growing paper needs to be watered daily so that it remains moist. It is best to use a sprayer so that every area of the paper gets the same amount of water.

4. Sun, warmth and lots of love

Place the container in a light and warm place. Be careful about choosing a spot in the sun, especially in summer, as the paper might dry out. The first plants will germinate within a week. From then on, give your plants a lot of love and attention, and continue to water them regularly.
