This Italian microbiome start-up scaled from manual processing to 5,000 samples weekly using 12 ASSIST PLUS pipetting robots, MAG modules, and MAGFLO NGS beads across their NGS sample prep workflow.
Results: This approach delivered the highest library concentrations with the lowest variability among all trialled combinations.
Parse Biosciences: accessible single cell sequencing automation
Parse Biosciences automated selected steps of its Evercode™ single-cell RNA-seq workflow using the ASSIST PLUS pipetting robot and D-ONE single channel pipetting module.
Result: Up to 75 percent less hands-on time and up to 85 percent fewer manual pipetting steps, as reported by customer feedback.
Peer-reviewed validation in Genome Research
A recent study published in Genome Research (Hammond et al, 2025) included an evaluation of automated PacBio HiFi library preparation using MIRO CANVAS. In this analytical validation, recall and precision of germline small variant (SNV/indel) detection were equivalent between libraries prepared with the automated workflow and those prepared manually at comparable sequencing depths.
