Perfecting the connection between pipetting heads and GRIPTIPS pipette tips
Do your pipette tips ever loosen, leak or fall off? This is a common issue in laboratories, caused by the use of universal pipette tips. Losing a tip during assay preparation can ruin the entire assay; a reliable seal is essential for accurate pipetting.
INTEGRA has designed the connection between the pipette tip and the tip fitting to resolve this issue. GRIPTIPS® pipette tips perfectly match the multi-lobe tip fitting, snapping firmly on during loading. This guarantees a perfect seal on every tip, preventing them from loosening, leaking or completely falling off. All tips are precisely aligned horizontally, enabling accurate touch-offs, even when pipetting with 384 tips.

Our latest development is the new AUTO rack Refill System which uses 43 % less plastic on average than the previous INTEGRA 6000 series racks. One of our latest milestones was receiving the My Green Lab® ACT® Ecolabel for our new AUTO racks. The label gives customers a transparent, third-party verified view of the product's environmental performance, covering material reduction, recycled content, product carbon footprint and sustainable manufacturing practices. How it works
Precise and consistent tip seal ensures that all tips on VIAFLO 96, VIAFLO 384, and ASSIST PLUS are precisely at an identical height for reliable touch offs and consistent pipetting results. An additional tip straightness inspection process ensures all pipette tips access wells even when dispensing to a 384 well plate.
The AUTO rack refill system pairs an AUTO rack with a reusable aluminum AUTO base. The base provides the stability needed during tip loading, allowing the rack to use 43 % less plastic on average than the previous INTEGRA 6000 series racks. The aluminum AUTO base is autoclavable, utilizes 75% recycled material, and is fully recyclable at end of life.

12.5µl, 50µl and 125µl INTEGRA pipettes feature new EF Fittings for use with GRIPTIPS EF resulting in minimized instrument stress over time through reduced loading and ejection forces.
Existing small volume pipetting heads require upgrade to be compatible with new AUTO racks.
Our GRIPTIPS® are manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene under strictly controlled conditions. All GRIPTIPS® are certified free of RNase, DNase, pyrogens, PCR inhibitors and endotoxins.
To mold the low retention AUTO rack GRIPTIPS®, INTEGRA uses a unique polypropylene blend with heightened hydrophobic properties. Using low retention GRIPTIPS® prevents low surface tension samples from spreading out and “wetting” the inner wall of the tips, allowing them to bead-up for a maximum liquid recovery.
Wide bore AUTO rack GRIPTIPS® reduce cell fragmentation caused by shearing and flow resistance. Wide Bore GRIPTIPS® are specifically designed to have bigger orifices to allow for the smooth non-disruptive transfer of viscous liquids.
