Our innovative modules enhance magnetic bead purification workflows

Efficient magnetic bead separation

MAG and HEATMAG boast exceptionally powerful magnets that automatically move up and down for fast and precise magnetic bead collection. This removes the need to manually move plates and tubes to and from the magnet to simplify and streamline the process. The bead collection height can even be adjusted depending on the volume, increasing yields and minimizing sample carryover to subsequent runs. The HEATMAG provides all these capabilities and more, with the addition of a unique heating element to support workflows at temperatures up to 65 °C, making it the ideal solution for lysis and elution in extraction workflows. These modules allow processing of both 96 well PCR plates and 1.5 ml tubes, and MAG offers additional versatility with interchangeable magnetic arrays for labware formats including 384 well PCR plates.

Discover the synergy and throughput gains that emerge when MAG or HEATMAG are paired with INTEGRA's state-of-the-art pipetting platforms for semi- or fully automated magnetic bead clean-ups. The ASSIST PLUS pipetting robot provides seamless control of the modules including dedicated programming steps for magnetic bead collection, offering straightforward protocol set-up for full, walk-away magnetic bead purification with total confidence. Alternatively, combine either module with the MINI 96, VIAFLO 96 or VIAFLO 384 pipetting platforms to process whole microplates or multiple tubes – simultaneously, or use as a standalone instrument. Whatever your needs, this versatility provides you with the freedom to effortlessly adapt your experiments on the go, according to your specific requirements.

Automated shaking, cooling and heating for more efficient workflows

MAG and HEATMAG are perfectly complemented by our COLDPLATE and BIOSHAKE modules, which offer the ultimate thermal and shaking control for greater reproducibility. COLDPLATE provides uniform temperature control from 0 to 99 °C with a rapid heat up/cool down rate, and the BIOSHAKE 3000 modules offer precise shaking from 200 to 3000 rpm for thorough mixing. The BIOSHAKE 3000-T goes one step further, combining this shaking capability with accurate heating to 99 °C, so there’s a solution for every workflow. The systems offer labware flexibility, and can be combined with the ASSIST PLUS, VIAFLO 96 and VIAFLO 384 platforms for high throughput workflows, or used as standalone modules.
